Why is my Wireless Scanner not scanning?

Make sure you have successfully paired to your device, if you have there will be a solid blue light on top of the scanner.

To pair with your device's built-in bluetooth:

  • Instructions on page 8 of the manual under "Automatic Bluetooth Pairing".

To pair with your device that doesnt have bluetooth:

  • Instructions on page 11 under "Wireless 2.4G pairing"

My Wireless Scanner has a solid blue light but still not scanning correctly.

If you are scanning into Excel, make sure you have set the cell formats to "text" before you scan. If you are using 39 barcode types, scan this barcode image.

My Wireless Scanner does 3 slow beeps?

The scanner has a low battery 🪫

A red light should appear on top of the scanner when you are charging it.

My Wireless Scanner does 3 fast beeps whenever I scan.

You have lost pairing or have not paired yet.

Does the Wireless and PRO Scanner work with Shopify POS?

Yes.

Turn on bluetooth on your device. Press and hold your POS-mate Wireless Barcode Scanner button for 8 seconds until the blue LED lights start flashing. Turn on and it should search for the POS-mate Scanner. Once found - connect. The blue LED will remain solid if the connection is successful.

After you connect your scanner, activate the Allow HID mode setting in Shopify POS.

  1. In Shopify POS, tap  > Settings.
  2. Turn on Allow HID mode.

Im scanning a 39 type barcode and it wont read correctly.

Can I scan barodes with inverted colour contrast?

e.g., white lines on a black background, light lines on a dark background

Yes. Scan the inverted colour config.

I'm trying to scan into an Excel App on my iOS or Android device.

Select the cells you will be scanning into and change those cell formats to "Text" before scanning, then go to page 16 of the manual and scan the Barcode "Very Low". This will slow down the data transfer rate so Excel can read correctly.

Can I add a custom prefix or suffix on my scans?
